About Us
T. H. BladeWerks is named for the late and great Terry L. Haney AKA Papa Haney.
Born December 7, 1950, Papa lived his life in North Platte, Nebraska and went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2016.
He spent his time living the true American Dream of the Great Plains. When he wasn’t working the Union Pacific Railroad, he spent his time hunting deer and birds.
His family fondly remembers his CB Handle, “Pleasant Pheasant”, and how he could impress an Olympian with his skill in archery.
Tylor A. Campton, founder of T.H. BladeWerks, inherited his Papa’s talent and passion for tinkering.
Papa’s first love was carpentry. But he was too creative to stop there. He made knives, re-packed his own ammunition, restored his arrows, and when his health declined he pursued a fresh outlet in the art of para cord tying.
Papa Haney lived the joy of a simple life. He instilled in his grandson the beauty of artistic creations.
His presence increases when Tylor is hard at work in the shop, honoring the memory of his grandfather by continuing the tradition of fine craftsmanship.
It is our desire at T.H. BladeWerks to bless you with this same quiet joy when we custom make your own work of art.
A commitment to excellence
Tylor Campton
Tylor taught himself the art of knife-making 5 years ago. His first pieces were created in the cluttered confines of his father’s garage within a home-made forge.
With every piece he pursues excellent craftsmanship and originality. His strict commitment to the values of family, loyalty, and honesty show in his pieces. With each day he strives to be better than the last.
Enjoying a full life in Colorado, when Tylor is not working on custom knives, he is making memories with his beloved sons and wife.
